_We congratulate our partner Daniel Anselmi for receiving the Grafitt Prize 2006 to the Best Producer, for his work in the releases of Dani Umpi and La Teja Pride. Congratulations also for our friend and colleague Nicolás Costa ( Loopez ) for receiving the Grafitti Prize 2006 to Best Electronic Music Record, for his release “Too”.

_ Cooptrol presents live his cptrl application in the Alliance Francaise next Friday 28 th July. The Soundtoys 2006 platform includes seldom activities in the week between 22nd and 29th of July. There will be conferences at the Fundación de Arte Contemporáneo, and a series of concerts featuring Julia Masvernat from Argentina , Cooptrol from Uruguay , Brian Mackern from Uruguay and Szkieve from Canada . _ Cooptrol has just finished his new application named ENTITY , which involves FM synthesis and 3D graphics controls. It will be soon available at his webpage, next to his previous application “ cptrl ”. In October Cooptrol will be doing a workshop of Max/MSP/Jitter in the Centro Cultural de España. _ Contrapedal Records will release in September the Panorama compilation of Uruguayan electronic music , curated by Nicolás Costa ( Loopez ). It will include artists such as Daniel Anselmi, Cooptrol, Androoval, Tinitus, Omar, Luciano Supervielle, Juan Campodónico, Loopez, Federico Deustch, Fernando Lagreca, Goma, Nou, UEB, Diego Miranda, etc.
