[neuma] is the solo project of José Santamaría, from Medellín (Colombia). José is an experienced electronic musician with many years of work in his country. [neuma] is a combination of ambient, IDM and minimalism. Even though his compositions are full of soft pads and delicate structures, [neuma] doesn't forget his electro-acoustic origins and adds digital error noise to his already high level of melancholy . He is releasing “ Proceso de selección del cetáceo en 3 partes ”, a work that represents clearly [neuma]'s accomplished sound, and which adds an enormous value to our catalogue. It consists in only one track, divided in three movements. We present it undivided in respect to the original work.

José is also part of Protov, a project with Alejandro Vélez which has had an enormous importance in the Latin American scene. Both musicians also run the Series label (see Links section), which is an important diffusion agent of electronic music in the region.
